Unlike one-size-fits-all tutoring centers, PrepToday offers focused instruction — AMC 8 and AMC 10 preparation for students in grades 5–10 who want to build deeper problem-solving skills beyond the standard curriculum.

About the Instructor

Founder, PrepToday & StudyToday

Lucas Wu founded PrepToday with the goal of making high-quality test prep accessible through in-person small-group classes. Lucas graduated from UC San Diego with a degree in Mathematics–Computer Science.

Since graduating, Lucas has been actively tutoring K–12 students in math — working across algebra, geometry, calculus, AP-level mathematics, SAT/ACT preparation, and AMC-style enrichment — in both private and small-group settings.

Several students have achieved significant SAT Math score gains under Lucas's instruction, including improvements from 680 to 780 and 700 to a perfect 800. AMC8 students have also shown strong progress in problem-solving confidence and competition performance.

Results reflect individual students' consistency, prior background, and independent practice. Outcomes vary.
